I may have to play Mass Effect since Spicyshimmy has started writing for it. Although that might have to wait until a time I stop feeling like someone has driven toothpicks through my eyeballs.

(If anyone here reads Dragon Age fic - highly, highly highly recommend. Shimmy is an amazingly talented and AMAZINGLY PROLIFIC writer even without hitting all my buttons. Seriously I have not seen anyone write that fast, ever.)

PLEASE DO PLAY MASS EFFECT. some of the characters are unforgettable, it's really worth the try at least.

i also hear good things about dragon age, but ME took up so much of my time. i want to try it someday, when the schedule is much freer.

Dragon Age 2 is beautiful. I like DA:O's storyline, but I can't get into it because I can't get into the gameplay. Would recommend you start with DA:O and then do DA2 (or just skip DA:O and read fic, heh!)

I've just started on ME2 - got it free when I purchased DA2. The Normandy is gorgeous. I'll freely admit that it's the thing I love the most about the game so far :D
