Ok, so

Running uphill at 15km/h doesn't kill me.

Pushing 50-60kg with my adductors/abductors is like yawn yawn yawn (this is what horse riding does for you, clearly).

Working my quads muscles until I'm snarling in pain is just, well, a few seconds of pain and then it's all better. (My gym sessions are all pure testosterone sessions, evidently.)


3 sets of burpees, though. 15 minutes into my workout (including the warm-up). I'm very glad I did this at home, because I collapsed in a boneless heap on the ground after I implemented push-ups on the last set, and just died for a while. And just yesterday I was complaining that I didn't get the point of squat thrusts (the wimpier cousin of the full burpee) because they were way too easy.


And after 5 years of not being able to run to save my life, I've finally completed the transition from my old running style to the new one (heel-toe strike to mid-foot strike). Suddenly, running isn't torture any more. (See - intervals of 15km/h uphill.)
