I really will have to finish it for you then. I'm terribly sorry it's taken this long.

I've always had the outline, then I lost a chapter and everything stalled sideways for a while (at least, I think I lost the chapter as opposed to never having written it in the first place. I'll never actually know, now). I just need to come up with a bunch of scheme-y, plotty and clever things. It was all so scheme-y and plotty that I took off to play chess instead, because that was simpler.

Clearly I needed to get other stuff out of my system as well, because now there is a cracky Simon/Aral fic waiting in the wings too.
